|Kept it simple in Copper Colour|
Hi again! I'm back again with a small jewelry box I made out of a plain plywood box I purchased in a Euro shop. After sanding it down well, I used a copper colour acrylic paint to cover it inside - out. Forgot to mention I had to previously remove all the metallic parts off the box. I used K&Co Life's Journey paper on the box and glued it all down using UHU glue for Decoupage, using the same method, making sure no bubbles of air were trapped under the paper. The pieces of paper cut were all distressed with Vintage Photo Distress ink. I let it dry well all night and the following day covered it with Pelican Glitter acrylic cover. It leaves a nice light shine with golden glitter all over. After that, I attached all the hinges back in place and glued with my hot glue gun the lace and ribbon all around the lid. Then on the top added I AM ROSES roses, after having them glimmer sprayed with some homemade glimmer spray. I also added on pop dots a stamped image with a lovely pin and feather, sent to me in a swap. It is now decorating my bedroom, but if I would do it again, I'ld go easy on the glitter!!!!
